Painting Levels

  • Bronze

Bronze is an entry level and intended for simple models or horde units. At this level, all details will be picked out with a base colour, then shades and highlights selectively applied to make those large squads pop on the tabletop. This level is focused on large groups of simple models such as Cultists, Skeletons etc.

Prices start from £10 per model,

  • Silver

Silver is the standard I recommend for most models. This is an above tabletop, premium level, which looks fantastic on display or on the battlefield. At this level, all details will be picked out with a base coat, then shades and edge highlights applied. Key areas such as weapons, shields, gems and lenses receive extra attention, these are the areas of the model that will draw your attention.

It’s recommended that single models, characters or heroes are painted to Silver level at a minimum. These are the models you and your friends will be picking up and looking at closely when you meet up, you want them to shine!

Prices start from £20 per model

  • Gold

Everything from Silver applies, but every aspect of the model gets detailed attention. Depending on the model it will have extra detailed layering, blending, weathering, rust, non-metallic metal (NMM) or gore effects all applied so that I can give you a standard worthy of pride of place in your army.

I recommend this level for character models or large centerpiece miniatures, though you can use this standard for a full army if you’re looking to have that extra special showcase.

Prices start from £40 per model

How it works

Your Enquiry

Your commission starts with a quote request so that I can understand what you need.

Please fill in our Enquiry form and submit via the website - (insert link)

Be as specific as you can for the quickest quote. The more information I have the better. If you have any reference pictures or sources that have given you inspiration, please share these with me.

Be sure to share a full list of all models for the commission as well as whether you will supply the models to me or whether you would like me to purchase them directly for you.

I offer different levels of painting service and basing for miniatures to suit different budgets and desires. Please have a look through this and select the “best fit” for your commission. If you want to request anything specific that isn’t mentioned, please just ask.

If I have any questions on your enquiry, I will contact you by your preferred method.

Your Quote

After receiving your enquiry form, I will send you a quote with estimated costs for all the services requested. You can then let us know if you would like any amendments, whether it be the addition or removal of models, a different level of painting, basing or a special request.

Wherever possible, a phone call to discuss the project and make sure that any little questions get answered is best. Any questions you have, “is this included? What would it cost if….?” can be asked and I can explain anything you have doubts with.

Once you have made any tweaks, I will send you a finalised quotation.

If you are happy to proceed, I will require a 25% deposit + 100% of the cost of any models you need me to purchase (including any 3D printed models if requested in the enquiry).

Your quote will be valid for 30 days, after this time if a deposit has not been paid, you will need to request a new quote.

Once the deposit has been paid, you will receive an order acknowledgment and I will purchase any necessary models or materials for the project. I will also confirm an estimated completion date for your commission.

I will send over a specification document for you to check and complete, I will have already included any notes or colours from your quote, but this is the opportunity for any details to be checked and agreed. Colours for individual units, perhaps colours for shoulder pads, weapons or armour accents, ground cover and rock colours, colour of grass tufts, etc. Anything you would like to be present, now is the time to let me know.

By accepting our quote and sending your deposit, you are agreeing to our Terms and conditions.

Work Begins

Once a deposit is received, the project will be added to my work queue, and I will begin your project as soon as possible.

You will then be kept up to date at each stage. You can also contact me during this time if you would like an update.

Project Completion

Once everything is completed, I will send you photos of the finished miniatures. If everything is to your satisfaction, I will issue the final invoice to be paid. The outstanding amount is to be paid within 14 days of receiving your final invoice. I am happy to make minor adjustments such as colour of eyes, purity seals or small claws. Large changes, however, such as changing the colour of armour panels or flesh tones would incur additional charges.

After payment has been settled I will carefully package and post the miniatures to you and send you proof of postage as well as a tracking number.
